Writing Update: Word Count, Waiting on Submissions, *New* Submission sent!

April is looking good for word count. I'm working hard on my Pan and Syrinx contemporary romance. I love starting a new story, and that usually propels my word count for awhile. So far I've written a synopsis, and 8,884K on it this month, which puts me very close to my goal of 1k a day. I worked very hard on making those first three chapters as strong as I can.

As for submissions, I'm still waiting on Love on Loch Ness, and the sequel to Playing the Maestro titled Duets with Michelangelo.  I just heard from my senior editor at Entangled Publishing, and she said she'd let me know soon.

My agent has the third book to the Paradise Reclaimed trilogy: Alliance, and Minstrel's Serenade. Minstrel's Serenade is done with edits and will be in the submission process soon! Alliance is on her TBR list.

I queried my Pan and Syrinx story to Entangled Publishing with the synopsis and first three chapters. If you are already an established author, you can submit a proposal package  instead of the entire manuscript. So, by the time it's done- in thirty days or so, I'll know if it was accepted or not. Entangled has a new submissions system that is very efficient.

I'm gearing up for my new release May 1st: the second book of the Paradise Reclaimed trilogy. Please let me know in the comments section if you are interested in being part of my book tour: whether it means reviewing the ARC, or hosting me on your blog.

Thanks!
