Writing Competition
One of my Ebook publishers, Gypsy Shadow Publishing, is having a writing competition based on this picture. The winner gets an ebook contract with them for their story. I think it's pretty neat.
The story has to be 3,000 words or more and the deadline is April 30th. There is no entry fee.
Anyone going to try?

Hm. Interesting picture! I will think about it, at least!
I might. 3K isn't that long.... Although I really shouldn't even try. I have so many other writerly things to do.
Oooh good luck if you enter the contest! :)
Great photo! I actually stared at for a good minute or so.
It's not really my genre but it sounds like a great contest!
Ooh, lovely!
Neat picture. I don't think I'll come up with anything for it, but great contest. :)
Moon/jellyfish? You find the most interesting competitions!
Oooh that is a great photo. If I have time I will def try to think something up. I love working with water, moons, etc.
Thanks for telling us. :)
Cool! I'm off to check it out. :o)
Wow..gorgeous picture. I might have to try and come up with something.
I think it is so cool of you to share these contests and anthology markets! Crossing my fingers for your submissions!
Ooh, a YA fantasy with the title of Jellyfish Moon. I'm not entering the contest, but somebody's welcome to take this and run with it.
Interesting. If I weren't already doing another contesty-thingy right now I would consider it. But right now I'm putting all my effort into that one. (Somehow I have to write about crazy flying fish babies in a short story. It will be ... interesting.) Good luck!
