So, I'm doing okay with my word count this year so far. I'm not near my goal of 365- 1k a day, but I still have August-December to see what I can come up with. Last month I completed Waking Jenny, the sequel to Sleeping Jenny and submitted it to Spencer Hill Press. Hopefully they'll like it! My agent is getting ready to query my new adult sci fi, Earth: Population 2 to publishers.
This month I'm working on the sequel to Minstrel's Serenade, currently called Orphan's Blade for Lyrical Press/Kensington. It's coming out wonderfully, and I love writing fantasy more than anything, so it's a month of pure writing bliss!
Sales have slowed down across the board after the initial skyrocket of the book bub add for Paradise 21. I've been coming up with clever Twitter entries to drum up interest such as:

I have a review tour coming up August 18th through CBB Book Promotions for An American Girl in Italy, so hopefully that will give it a push.
This fall I look forward to the release of Diva's Handyman through HarperImpluse in November, and Sleeping Jenny through Spencer Hill Press in December.
