My Contract with HarperCollins!

I am so excited to finally announce the big news I've been hinting at for the last few weeks! I just signed with Harper Impulse, a division of Harper Collins for my contemporary romance Duets with Michelangelo.

Their motto is We've got the Love, and they sure do! I think this is a perfect fit for my next contemporary romance.

Duets with Michelangelo is about an oboist in an orchestra. Her orchestra is touring Italy, and along the way she falls head over heels for the Italian tour guide. But, he has a big secret he's keeping from the orchestra.

Here is the blurb I used to query the book:

An Italian paradise is the last thing she wants, but the one thing she needs..

The last thing Carly Davis needs is an Italian distraction. Working hard to make ends meet as an oboist in Boston, she’s entirely put out by the Easthampton Civic Symphony’s tour of Europe. The amount of gigs she has to cancel for two weeks in an Italian paradise just isn’t worth it, and she can’t seem to part with her phone long enough to snap a picture of the Roman Coliseum.

Michelangelo Ricci hates everything American. His family’s vineyard has had a rough season, and if he can’t scrounge up enough Euro’s, the bank’s going to turn his winery into a tourist attraction with condos for rich Americans. Ironically, the only way he can come up the money to save his vineyard is to pose as an experienced tour guide for an American orchestra.

When Carly needs an Italian teacher to land a gig, Michelangelo comes to her rescue. He’s instantly drawn to her despite her American heritage. But, to dive into a fling would jeopardize his job as the tour guide and his one way to rescue his winery. Despite the risk, he falls for Carly, knowing after the tour ends, both must go back to their previous lives. When they’re secret fling is discovered, Carly must do everything in her power to save his vineyard before it’s too late. But, does she want to give up her career in the states and live there forever?

Duets with Michelangelo will be coming out this spring! I'll keep you all updated on the developments!
