Writing Update: Lots of Good Stuff Happening

So my word count for last month (March) was 22,683. I didn't meet my goal of 30k, but I did complete edits for Sleeping Jenny- coming out in the fall from Spencer Hill Press, I rewrote a submission to Embrace- Entangled Publishing's NA line- Earth: Population 2, and I finished Diva's Handyman and submitted to Harper Impulse on time. So it was a productive month.

This past weekend I finished edits for Duets with Michelangelo- Now titled An American Girl in Italy. So, what do you think of the new title? It should be coming out from Harper Impulse May 15th if all goes well. My editor told me they were working on the cover TODAY!

I've also started the sequel to Sleeping Jenny, tentatively titled Waking Jenny. I'll be focusing on that book this month because I promised Spencer Hill Press I'd have it to them in June.

If you've been following my blog, I've contacted all of the winners of all the blog hops except for the Celebrate Romance Hop- which is still going on now. If you won one of my books, I'd love for you to write a review for me! And to those who didn't win- keep following this blog for more chances in the future.

Thank you for following this writing journey with me! (I can't do it alone!)

Yay for the word count and all the good things happening!

The new title is nice, but I personally like your old one a little better.

Good luck with Waking Jenny!

You've made some wonderful progress and got very close to your goal.

I like the new title and will be intrigued to see what the cover-to-come will look like.

That's a pretty good word count!

I do like the new title. It sounds like a play off of "An American in Paris".

(PS. Do you know you have word verification on?)

Wish I had your word counts. :)

Can't wait to read Duets (even if it's been renamed.) I kinda liked the Duets with Michelangelo title but I know publishers don't always like titles that I do. ;)

New title - it's catchy, but I liked yours better. :)
