Scorching Book Reviews is Hosting this great Valentine's Day blog hop.
I'm supposed to talk about my favorite romance trope.
So here it goes...
When I wrote Love on Loch Ness, I entwined two different tropes: Enemies to lovers, and opposites attract. I'm not sure I could pick a favorite from those two, they are both so much fun to write. In this case, the enemies were a believer and a non believer of Nessie. I figured I'd make the heroine - aka the non believer- very scientific, and I'd make the hero- aka the believer- very passionate and faithful. That way they weren't only enemies, they were opposites as well. This made for some very funny scenes a long with a lot of conflict. In fact, it's the heroine's non belief that almost tears them apart...
But you'll have to read it to find out why...
