Writing Update:Waiting on Submissions, Edits Done, What's Next?

So, this month has been a slow writing month for me. Although, I did manage to finish the sequel to Playing the Maestro, titled Duets with Michelangelo. I also passed in the third book of the Paradise Reclaimed trilogy to my agent- Alliance- with full synopsis, tag lines, blurb, and a character list to be read and submitted to Inkspell Publishing. I passed in edits for my epic fantasy romance, Minstrel's Serenade, to my agent as well. I managed about 14k so far, and I'm trying to squeeze some more in before the end of the month.

Submissions I'm waiting on:

Duets with Michelangelo-  the sequel to Playing the Maestro is still being considered by Entangled Publishing.

Love on Loch Ness- my Loch Ness monster contemporary romance is also still being considered by Entangled Publishing. I'm not sure it fits their Bliss category because it does have some paranormal elements, but I have other places to submit to if it doesn't fit.

Submissions going out soon:

Minstrel's Serenade- my agent will be subbing this one soon, and she's starting with the big ones! So, we'll see what happens with that.

New Releases Coming:

Reconnaissance, the sequel to Colonization is coming out May 1st- just one month away! You can preorder it here.

If you haven't read Colonization yet, you'd better get cracking so you can dive right into the sequel! You can buy it on Amazon here.

Also, my trailer for Tundra 37 is featured on USA today's HEA (Happily Ever After) Blog! Click here to see the post!

As always I'll keep you updated with my progress. How was March for you?

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you with the submissions!

I'm trying to finish up the last story in my short story collection as well as do a self-edit before the end of March.

Good luck with all your submissions! I'm still excited about the Loch Ness one. My March was slow for writing since my son didn't nap much and this week I have a cold nagging me.

Good luck! I really want to read that Loch Ness book. I hate to sound like a broken record, but we stayed right across the street from Loch Ness when we went to Scotland for a week. I loved it. Every day was just magical.

Good luck with all the submissions. Looking forward to Reconnissance!

I've been doing more promoting than writing this month, but I'm hoping to get a lot done next month for Camp NaNo, as well as the A-Z blogging challenge.
