Pictures from B&N Book Signing

The book signing went so well today! I had serious anxiety in the car on the way there. It was such a good idea all the way up until I'm driving to B&N, then, it wasn't such a good idea any more. Good idea, good idea, good idea....bad idea...

Now, I realize it was a great idea, and I had nothing to worry about. (I'm such a worry wart.) I didn't even have to read my book out loud. The manager said we'd sell more if we stood out front and talked about our books instead. And we did. I watched the stack of books go down slowly.

Total strangers came by to ask us questions about our books, and they bought them! Of course, my entire family showed up, and that helped to create more buzz. I need to thank my parents, Brianne, James, Evan, Austin, Danielle, and of course Chris for being there for me today.

Sarah Gilman is so much fun to be with. We had a blast talking about flute (Get two flutists together and there's always conversation), writing, family, all sorts of topics. We even had another local author invite us to another book signing event at a local winery. How cool is that?

At the end of the day, I'm glad I did it. Thank you, Barnes and Noble Manchester for making my dream come true!

Very cool, Aubrie! I had wanted to come up, but we had a wedding at our house last night.

Look how professional everything looks at B&N.

Keep me posted on your signings.

Yay! I'm so excited for you that it went well. Just wait until you have more books out and can have a bunch of them on the table. It'll be so cool. :)

Very exciting! I'm so glad it turned out well. I can only imagine the millions of butterflies swarming your belly before the event. I'm nervous just thinking about such a situation. :) Great job in facing this challenge, and of course the books disappeared. I'd expect nothing else. You are on your way girl, buckle in.
