Happy Halloween!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays (besides Christmas). Last night my husband and I went to my brother's Halloween party.

I was Arwen from LOTR:

He was Legolas from LOTR

My brother and his girlfriend were Hans Solo and Leia (my brother's outfit is all homemade: points for creativity)

And my other brother was Dr. Horrible:
(also homemade: extra points for creativity here)

Did anyone else dress up for Halloween?

Aubrie! You looked divine! I love a good Halloween party, but I'm not attending any this year. Just going to live vicariously through my kids and eat chocolate. Perfect plan, if ever there was one!

Happy Halloween!

I'm not gonna dress up this year, but my boys will be little pumpkins.

No, but my wife and I lived vicariously through my daughter and son-in-law who dressed up as a local political figure and wife.

You looked very fetching Aubrie. We don't really do Halloween over in Oz. Wrong time of year.

But Happy Halloween to you in the Northern Hemisphere! Hope the party was great. What do you eat and drink? Blood?

I went as a last minute black lantern (home made). I started as a zombie but then drew out the black lantern log with a sharpie and taped it on my black jacket.

Love the pictures! You look great.

I didn't dress. It's the first time in a few years, but I just didn't have the time or energy. Next year I want to have a party because I missed out on too much fun.

Those are really fun costumes. Nice to see you sashay like that. Also, it is a little scary how close to the real ones are the Hans Solo and Princess Leia!

Fun costumes! I went as a pregnant woman. It's fun to see aquantances do a double take and pause before they realize it's a costume. Closer friends laugh right out loud. :)

Hi. I'm late to the party! I was just thinking that I hadn't read your blog for a while and came to see what I'd missed. Cute costumes! You looked fabulous. So, uh, Happy Thanksgiving since I'm a bit late for Halloween.

You look gorgeous. Plus, you have an awesome family! I love those costumes. I dressed as Sarah Palin. It was the scariest thing I could think of! *LOL*
