Pictures of my Trip to New Mexico

So I heard back from agent #6 and the response was no. Oh well. Cherie , my awesome CP not only told me of another agency to send my query to, she told the head agent at the agency about me at the conference she went to. How wonderful is that? Thank you, again Cherie. If this works out I'm eternally in your debt. So I'm waiting on them before I start looking at other options.

Here's some pictures of my trip:

Our Hotel in Santa Fe

View from inside the Theater for the Santa Fe Opera

A church in the downtown of Santa Fe where Igor Stravinsky conducted an Opera

Chaco National Park, where I bought my Native American flute!

Petroglyphs (Carvings on the wall) dating back to 800AD in Chaco

My new friend, the horny toad

I'll post a video of me playing the Native American flute once I get good at it! In the mean time, I'll have a video of my recent concert with my teacher up in the next few days.

Thanks for looking at my pictures! I'll keep everyone updated on this new agency. If you want the link, just send me an email.

The pictures are awesome!

I'm happy there's another agent out there. But you should go to Jane Friedman's blog. I think about two weeks ago, there are post from an author who, in the comment section, said don't just send to the agents in your genre. Many are looking for something unique. I don't want you to give up on this one!

Eeep! Kudos to you for touching the toad. lol.

Good luck with the new agency. It does take time to find the right fit, but it will be worth it. Fingers crossed!

The pics are beautiful. I loved Santa Fe when I went there. Lots of neat things to look at. Love the toad. Did you smuggle him home on the plane?

Those are some nice pics - they remind me of AZ.
Even though agent #6 said no, one of these days your efforts will pay off. Keep at it!

Good luck on the new agency!

These photos bring back memories of my New Mexico trip with my first husband many years ago. I love the Western United States. It's dry out there, but there's a lot of incredible scenery.

Thanks for posting these, and for coming into my blog.

Love the photos! Can't wait to see the flute video.

I just realized your link isn't updating itself on my blog. I'd thought you were on hiatus... I'll have to figure out what went wrong with the link.

Your CP, Cherie, sounds like a real friend and that she believes in your book. :) That's worth celebrating.

Good luck on your agent search.

Good luck with the new agency! In Norwegian we have a saying "Den som venter på noe godt, venter ikke forgjeves" ("The one waiting for something good, isn't waiting in wain"). It might not be a universal truth, but at least it can be a motivation to keep trying :)
