Found Another Agent to Query

While scrolling down my old favorites I'd tabbed years ago while querying my first novel, I found an agency not on Query Tracker that has clients and sales and represents science fiction among other things.

Suffice to say, I've sent my query to them asap.

They have very specific guidelines to query, so be careful and read all the fine print, even the font size and fonts!

Querytracker is awesome, but it's not infallible. I've found a number of agents who rep historical fiction that aren't listed on QT, but who are reputable and have great sales.

I have a spreadsheet I've done up with names I got from querytracker and publishers marketplace. I just need to start pushing send again.

Good luck. I've not used QT yet. Are you allowed to suggest new agents?

I'm glad you found a new agent. I would think more and more agents are taking science fiction. Good luck!

GOOD LUCK!!! I love Querytracker. Hopefully when I'm at that stage I'll find someone. I also bookmark certain blog posts about agents NOT on querytracker for when I'm ready.

Good luck!!!! I'm glad to have found Querytracker for when it's time to submit to Agents, however it's nice to make sure you're doing your own research as well!

Well dang, pushed the wrong button.

Anyway. There's no such thing as coincidences. There's a reason you ran upon this. I bet you get a request from this one.

Good luck.

Good Luck to you! I'm so impressed that you're brave enough to share your stats with us...I need to push on with mine. Not doing as well as I'd like, but there's always tomorrow and the next agent.

It's so hard to get them all. There isn't one directory that is complete. (Although I think agentquery.com comes close!) I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :o)

Have a great new week and thanks for the great question on my blog! I'll answer it tomorrow.
