Video of Dress Rehearsal

I finally figured out how to get this on You Tube! The video must be under 10 minutes, and the first movement was 11, so I had to cut the orchestra intoduction, and now it fits! Please watch and rate if you have a few minutes.

Wonderful! You are so talented. That brightened up my day. Music is huge at my house, and my second great passion just slightly behind writing. I played the flute a hundred years ago in Jr. High. I still have it, and my husband is always pestering me to get it out again. Not sure I can remember any fingerings. Now for the motherly bragging portion (just to warn you)-my oldest son plays trombone. He's really good and plans to become a professional musician. My second son plays saxophone. It's only his second year, but he auditioned for and made it into the ninth grade band. (He's in eighth.) They both do jazz band, too. My third son just started playing cello (to the dismay of his jazzy brothers, but hey, he can take up bass and still do jazz band.) My husband is a pianist. I sing, mostly in choirs, but some solos too. Well, sorry for this long rambling comment. I so enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you, Angie! It looks like musical talent runs in your family! I think it's so important to have your children learn a musical instrument. There have been studies done that say it boosts test scores, even in math! I'm so happy for your talented family! You must be a really good mom!

If you ever have any questions on flute fingerings, I'll be there for you!
